Today we went to the beautiful Parc de la Ciutadella to play a game of soccer (football) for our P.E. We had a lot of fun playing with our new FC Barcelona soccer ball (football). After playing some soccer we walked to the Arc de Triomf. I have to say it is not nearly as magnificent as the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Fun fact: the Arc in Barcelona is the grandest entrance into the Parc de la Ciutadella. It was built in 1888 and was not created as a war memorial but it was built for the Universal Exhibition held in Barcelona that year. A Universal Exhibition is like a World's Fair, where people come together to share ideas. We had an artistic and athletic day.
Your right V, not as pretty as Paris, but I want to see it myself. The park looks beautiful and so glad you're having great weather.
