Palaca Sant Felip Neri

Today we went to Palaca Sant Felip Neri. The church of Sant Felip Neri is the church that Gaudi attended. The marks in the wall are bomb damage of the Spanish Civil War. The people of barcelona saw a lot of fighting because they were anti-Franco. I thought it was sad to see the marks in the wall.

  1. Would you believe Papa and I were married in St. Felip Neri church in Alameda. As was Julie and Dave and Chuck and Nancy. It is just down the street from Big Nonnies old house. Now I know some of the history of the name and where it came from. It's amazing to see how strong they built the church as it was bombed so many times. The weather here is still in the high 80's so it's really nice. This Sunday we go to Shakespeare and see 39 steps.
