Cosmo Caixa Science Museum by Harry and Victoria

Yesterday we went to the science museum in Barcelona. I really started thinking about Newtons Laws of Motion. I think I get all three now. I am still trying to get Einstein's E=MC2 in a simple way. Did you know the speed of light is 300,000,000 m/s? That's really fast.

Anyway, we had a great time and I'm glad we went.

At the science museum yesterday there was an amazing rainforest. It had aquatic life, plants, birds, insects, and a mammal (a tapir). It as a great way to experience a rainforest if you have never been to one.

  1. Wow, not only was it educational but a beautiful building. Barcelona is one of a kind of beautiful buildings. You'll have to explain all those theorys to Nonnie when you get home. I think I mostly just nod my head when I hear them :)

  2. Great museum, Harry. Loved the wave machine. I admire how you "get" Newton's theories. Amazing. I mostly understand the theory behind "a body at rest stays at rest; a body in motion stays in motion" because whenever I get on the couch, my body can barely move out of it! Speaking of motion, we're in the process of making our salt dough landform models for our summative assessment. Look for photos soon. We're also going to the Foothills Learning Center on Tuesday to build a volcano in a trash can and to study how humans impact landforms. Wish you were with us! Soon, though, huh!
